Fill the Gap
God says, "Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
There have actually been men throughout history who have listened to God's invitation, called to Him and seen Him do things that only He could do through them. The question of the day is, will we be those men?
Andrew Murray was one. The Lord used him mightily as a missionary , author, and minister in South Africa in the mid-1800's. He said, "Intercession (praying for God's work to be done in the lives of others) is, by amazing grace, an essential element in God's redeeming purpose - so much so that without it the failure of its accomplishment may lie at our door. . . . Without it (intercession), the church loses the joy and the power of the Spirit for achieving great things for God. Without these things, the command to preach the gospel to every creature can never be carried out. Without them, there is no power for the church to recover from her sickly, feeble life and conquer the world. In the life of the believer, the minister, or the church member, there can be no entrance into the abundant life and joy of daily fellowship with God except if He takes His place among God's elect - the watchmen who cry to him day and night."
We are at the beginning stages of our Warrior Walk initiative. We are going to intercede for every square inch/every soul within a five mile radius of our church. Our command center for the initiative is going to be completed within the next couple of weeks. We have several fire teams organized already (Team Samurai, The Ramblin Prayers, En Fuego, The Overmountain Men - to name a few). Our first Warrior Walk prayer guide is ready and available.
The question is, dare we be those men?
Some have asked to be able to view the video from the Battle of Chickamauga - here is a link to it:
